ABOUT ME

Here is a bit about Modesty. Although her name is Modesty, she is also regarded as the Sargeant because of her no-nonsense style of training. She believes making up your mind to change your life for the better is sometimes very difficult and overwhelming. But, she also knows that it can be done with the right state of mind and discipline. "We just have to make up our minds. Like I finally did".

Initially, her objective when it came to fitness and personal training was to regain control of her life. She was unhealthy, unmotivated and depressed. While not over weight, she suffered at the opposite end of the spectrum, being underweight. "People called me Olive Oyl, or my favorite term, "Skinny Fat" because I had no muscle tone at all!" Due to being physically weak, Modesty suffered with back pain, carried stress in her shoulders and stomach, had dull skin and was irritable as a result of poor nutrition.

Having two beautiful children and wanting to be a role model was a major factor in Modesty getting fit. Now, she calls herself "The Super Single Mother" or a "Yummy Mummy". Modesty claims through her children’s grace, she became empowered, gained 25 pounds and now is in the best shape of her life emotionally and physically.

She now specializes in core strengthening and endurance training; exercises that involve training the body for everyday activities and that explore a natural, full range of motion. Modesty trains a wide range of individuals who want to get and maintain a healthier lifestyle. From mothers and fathers to business professionals and high school athletes. They join her for Boot Camp at her gym, HiEnd Fitness or she meets them, which allows her to travel (another favorite passion). Another mantra, "the couple that trains together, stays together", so she always encourages group or couples training!
